If you look Upcycling up on Wikipedia, it says... also known as creative reuse, is the process of transforming by-products, waste materials, useless and/or unwanted products into new materials or products of better quality or for better environmental value.
Now defining this activity isn't that fun as practicing it! You MUST try!
We assure you an increasement of your Endorfines levels and a boost of self LOVE that magically will be spread out to anybody who you meet up on the way.
That's how we feel anytime we finish the process of making a pair of Eco Bambas:
1- We specially reuse fabrics. And every fabric has an interesting story behind. Women and men who made or worn these pieces of fabrics tell theirs stories and those stories keep evolving with every new combination done on Eco Bambas that is purchased by our family (You and the rest of the world).
Coffee sacks, Recycled Jeans, worn huipiles, 100 % natural cotton scraps and leather scraps are some of our big collection of Collected materials ( tapestry, curtains, tablecloth, Corduroy, Shirt, Fur scarfs, bags, bagpacks, etc).
2- Also, we gather bamboo sticks on The Pacific coast and make them our beautiful and detailed logo with a bit of heat over them.
3- With the same lineaments we create Eco Bambas pashte insoles. We collect lots of these fantastic vegetables at the coast. And after that there is a hand-made process of taking out the seeds and turning them into a flat surface to get the insole done.
4- Finally, truck tires are the protagonists of Eco Bambas soles. There is a special and super patient crew who spend hours peeling the tire to get the thickness we desire for the shoes.
We work with Real Love to make these shoes for all of you.
Until next time!
